Technical Support Specialist - PART TIME

GTI is interested in hiring a part time technical support specialist whose primary function will be general technical support.
The following are basic responsibilities and qualifications of the job:


• Working knowledge of the Windows Operating System (Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 & 2000)
• Familiarity setting up Dial-up Networking for connectivity.
• DSL order processing and customer setup
• Familiarity with Networking
• Familiarity with E-mail client programs. (i.e. Eudora, Netscape, Outlook etc.)
• Familiarity with the UNIX Shell Environment as well as SLIP/PPP connections.
• Familiarity with web hosting and basic design
• Good customer rapport and telephone manners.
• The ability to problem solve many different technical scenarios.
• Weekday evenings and Saturdays - approx. 25 hrs / week.

Freelance HTML Specialist

GTI has several opportunities for HTML specialists. Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of HTML (2.0, 3.0, and
Netscape extended). GTI's web development projects range from small to large, but all must be completed professionally and creatively.
The following are basic responsibilities and qualifications of the job:


• Page formatting (layout / design)
• Familiarity with CGI scripting is a great advantage but not required
• Ability to work with tables and other advanced HTML features
• Ability to layout and format graphics and use them as necessary
• ** MUST be local to Morristown, NJ for meetings.

System Administrators

Duties include maintaining, tuning and debugging OS and supporting users. Maintain TCP/IP Ethernet LAN. Monitor and Admin Unix
and Windows servers, workstations & LAN. Provide security, backup & disaster recovery. Maintain and Admin NFS, DNS, NNTP,
SMTP, PPP, FTP, HTTP.  Router configuration and maintenance. Must be a team player and able to work well with others.  Part time position.
